Order & Lead Times

Every Formentto piece is crafted to order. There is no warehouse, no inventory shelf, no mass production. When you place your order, your sofa does not yet exist. It will be built—by hand, in our Hickory workshop—specifically for you.

Lead Time

Six to eight weeks. From the moment you order to the moment it arrives in your home. Fifty days, give or take, from raw timber to finished piece.

This is not a delay. It is the time required to do something properly.

The Journey

Week 1 — Your order is confirmed and enters our production schedule. Materials are sourced: the fabric you selected, the hardwood for your frame, the springs and cushion cores.

Weeks 2-5 — Construction begins. The frame is built and cured. Springs are hand-tied. Upholstery is cut, sewn, and fitted. Every detail is checked, adjusted, refined.

Weeks 6-7 — Final inspection. Your piece is photographed, wrapped, and prepared for delivery.

Week 8 — White glove delivery to your home. Placed exactly where you want it.
